Acroyoga is a blend of yoga, acrobatics, performing and healing arts. You'll work on balance, confidence and core strength, as well as trust and communication. You don't necessarily need any yoga experience to take a class.

Good to Know

It's a partner-based practice, so you'll take turns as 'the base', who has the most points of contact on the ground, and 'the flyer', who's elevated off the ground.

Don't worry, you don't need to bring your own partner, you can pair up once you arrive.

Size doesn't matter. Technique is more important than strength and students of all sizes can both lift and fly.

The two main schools of Acroyoga were both founded in the early 2000's, by Jessie Goldberg + Eugene Poku in Montreal, and Jason Nemer + Jenny Klein in California.
