Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation technique, also know as 'Yogic Sleep' or 'Sleep with Awareness'. It's a systematic method of reaching full-body relaxation and a meditative state of awareness. As you lie, fully supported on the floor, your teacher verbally guides you to a state of deep relaxation, then back again to a conscious state.
